The color of money: Turquoise?

PITTSBURGH - Police in Pittsburgh say a bank robbery suspect was quickly apprehended, in part due to his unique choice in footwear: turquoise socks and black sandals, reports CBS Pittsburgh.

Pittsburgh police have identified the suspect in Friday's bank robbery in the Oakland section of the city as 34-year-old Vincent Reich of Aliquippa.

According to police, Reich handed the teller a note and then fled on foot with an undetermined amount of money.

With the help of University of Pittsburgh police, officers managed to track down the suspect right in front of the school's police station. They reportedly were able to identify him because of how bright his turquoise socks were.

Reich was also wearing a black-hooded sweatshirt, jean shorts and black sandals when he was taken into custody.
