TSA agents find cocaine hidden in raw meat
SAN JOSE, Calif. - Meat tenderizer, it isn't.
Transportation Security Administration officials said agents discovered about three pounds of cocaine concealed in raw meat inside a passenger's luggage.
Officials said it was found during a routine check of passenger bags at Mineta San José International Airport.
The vacuum-sealed food was packed inside the luggage of a 24-year-old passenger flying from San Jose to Seattle.
Upon discovery of the drugs, TSA agents alerted San Jose Police who confiscated the items and arrested the passenger, according to a statement from the agency.
