There's a "Trump vs. Bernie" comedy series coming your way

After weeks on the road with their successful "Trump vs. Bernie" mock-debate show, comedians Anthony Atamanuik and James Adomian are taking their shtick to TV screens -- and the web -- thanks to a deal with Fusion for a cross-platform video series lampooning the 2016 presidential race.

Wasting little time, the project kicked off in earnest Tuesday night with a post-Super Tuesday Facebook live-stream of the comic actors in character in a hotel room.

Clinton: Trump, Sanders succeeding because "people are angry"

Further installments of "Trump vs. Bernie" will be made available by Fusion on YouTube, Facebook and its own digital video site, F-Comedy.com. The cable network will also air an hour-long special sometime this spring and a prime-time debate between the two.

"We are beyond excited to be bringing our 'Trump vs. Bernie' debate series to Fusion. The crowd response to our live tour has been fantastic, and the opportunity to now do it for a wider audience on TV and the Internet is exactly what we want," Adomian said, according to the Wrap. "Anthony and I have been playing Donald Trump and Bernie Sanders respectively for a while, and I can't describe the pure fun it has been touring together. It's almost like an evil vs. good pro wrestling event. Doing fun but dangerous political satire like this in the middle of a national election for a big audience is a lifelong dream."
