"True Detective" finale crashes HBO GO

"True Detective" has become so popular that it caused some technical issues on HBO GO's streaming platform Sunday night.

The season 1 finale of the hit show aired Sunday, but not everyone was able to watch because of the show's overwhelming popularity.

HBO GO's official Twitter page addressed the technical issues:

The first season of "True Detective" starred Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson. According to Deadline, series creator Nic Pizzolatto is plotting season 2 with different actors and a new storyline and in a different location.
