"Toy Story 4" will feature romance for Woody
Adults and children alike will get to see a love story for "Toy Story" character Woody (voiced by Tom Hanks) in the franchise's next installment.
Disney Chief Creative Officer John Lasseter told CNBC on Friday that romance will heat up for the toy cowboy and a nursery rhyme doll.
Oh la la!
"It's a love story with Woody and -- and this is news -- Bo Peep," he revealed.
The upcoming film follows the 2010's "Toy Story 3," which featured the voices of Hanks, Tim Allen, Joan Cusack, Michael Keaton and Don Rickles.
The studio apparently has high hopes for "Toy Story 4."
"At Pixar and at Disney, we only make sequels if we come up with a story that are as good or better than the original. That's our rule. We don't do things just to print money," said Lasseter.
"Toy Story 4" is expected to hit theaters June 16, 2017.
