Tori Spelling sues Benihana over third degree burns

Tori Spelling has filed a lawsuit against Benihana after receiving third degree burns when she fell backwards onto a steaming hot hibachi grill in April.

According to legal documents obtained by TMZ, the former "Beverly Hills, 90210" star says she suffered "deep second and third degree burn injuries" from the accident. She's seeking compensation for medical expenses, lost wages and "general damages." Reports say she was getting up to leave when she tripped and fell backwards.

After the incident, Spelling, 42, was seen with bandages on her arm.

Spelling was having lunch at the Benihana restaurant Encino, California, on Easter Sunday with her husband Dean McDermott and their children Liam, Stella, Hattie and Finn.
