Tony Awards 2016: 5 things to expect at this year's show
The 70th Annual Tony Awards are almost here, and this year's show on Sunday is packed with stars, ranging from Lin-Manuel Miranda to classic pop star Gloria Estefan.
Here's what you can expect from this year's show, which will be hosted by James Corden of the "Late Late Show."
1. Barbra Streisand will appear. It's the first time since 1970 that the legendary singer will take the stage as a Tony presenter.
2. The cast of "Hamilton" is in for a big night. Not only will the cast of smash-hit musical perform on the Tonys stage, but they will also see what happens with their record-breaking 16 nominations. The best part? Viewers will get them perform for free -- tickets are now going for as much as $6,000.
3. The show will be full of Hollywood stars. Cate Blanchett, Jake Gyllenhaal, Steve Martin, Neil Patrick Harris, James Earl Jones and more big-name celebrities will present at the show. Did we mention that Oprah will also present?
4. Gloria Estefan will perform. The Latin pop superstar will perform with the cast of "On Your Feet" at the 2016 Tonys.
5. More performances from Broadway's biggest shows. Expect performances from the cast members of "Shuffle Along," "She Loves Me" with Jane Krakowski, "School of Rock," "Fiddler on the Roof," "The Color Purple" with Danielle Brooks, "Waitress," "Bright Star" and "Spring Awakening."
