GOP Convention theme: Make America _____ again!

RNC hopes to offer America a "likable" Trump

Riffing on Donald Trump's catchy "Make America great again" campaign slogan, the Republican National Convention will feature variations on the theme throughout the four days of the nominating convention.

Monday: Make America Safe Again

Speakers will be attacking the policies of President Obama and the proposals of Trump's general election opponent, Hillary Clinton by raising the Sept. 2012 attack in Benghazi, and a U.S. immigration system that leaves "our country open to security threats and the negative consequences of illegal immigration."

In addition to Trump's wife Melania, who has a central speaking spot with a five-minute speech in the 10 p.m. ET hour, prime-time slots will be filled by lawmakers like Sen. Jeff Sessions; Sen. Joni Ernst, R-Iowa; Sen. Tom Cotton, R-Arkansas; former Texas Gov. Rick Perry; House Homeland Security Chairman Rep. Michael McCaul, R-Texas.

Also, a host of military speakers who were in Benghazi during the attack on the U.S. embassy in 2012 are slated to speak. Others addressing the delegates in prime time include actor Scott Baio, best known for playing Chachi on "Happy Days;" former soap opera star Antonio Sabato, Jr., and Willie Robertson of the reality show "Duck Dynasty."

Trump told Fox News' "Fox and Friends" that his wife will be speaking "about her love of the country."

Tuesday: Make America Work Again

Tuesday is the day that we can expect to drop "presumptive" -- as in "presumptive GOP nominee Donald Trump." The delegate roll call will take place Tuesday, read by House Speaker and Republican Convention Chair Paul Ryan. Once he hits 1,237 delegates, Donald Trump will officially be deemed the Republican nominee.

The theme for Tuesday focuses on jobs with the theme Make America Work Again. Speakers will critique the rate of growth of the economy under President Obama, the low labor-force participation and regulations and "legislation like Obamacare," according to the RNC program. Speakers are expected to drive home the idea that a Clinton presidency will just be a third term for Mr. Obama, and they will promote Trump's record as a businessman.

Veep finalist New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie will speak in prime time, as well Dr. Ben Carson, Sen. Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Kentucky; and Trump's children, Tiffany and Don, Jr.

Wednesday: Make America First Again

On Wednesday, the newly named running mate, Indiana Gov. Mike Pence addresses the delegate on Make America First again. Wednesday's theme will suggest that years of "bad policies and poor leadership have weakened our position in the world," according to the program."Under a Trump administration, America will once again be a beacon of progress and opportunity."

Radio Host Laura Ingraham, Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi, retired astronaut Eileen Collins will all highlight the successes of Republican women. Former rivals Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas; Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Florida; and Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker are on the list of speakers, and Eric Trump and Newt and Callista Gingrich will also be speaking before Pence takes the stage.

Thursday: Make America One Again

Trump himself, speaking on the final day of the convention, will be making the pitch that he's the candidate who can "move our country beyond the divisive identity politics that have been holding us back."

On Trump's night, Rep. Marsha Blackburn, Oklahoma Gov. Mary Fallin, and Reince Priebus will be speaking. Peter Thiel, the venture capitalist who funded Hulk Hogan's lawsuit against Gawker, is also speaking, as well as Colony Capital CEO Tom Barrack, and Trump's daughter, Ivanka.
