"The Michael J. Fox Show" yanked from NBC's schedule

Things are not looking good for "The Michael J. Fox Show."

NBC is pulling the sitcom from its Thursday night lineup, along with Sean Hayes' "Sean Saves the World,” and is replacing them with episodes of the Jane Lynch-hosted "Hollywood Game Night."

The news follows word that production on "Sean Saves the World" was halted last week. Both shows had struggled in the ratings.

"Fox," which marked "Family Ties" and "Spin City" star Michael J. Fox's return to television, was picked up for a 22-episode order for its debut season. Fifteen of those episodes have aired so far.

According to Vulture, which first reported the news, an NBC rep noted that Fox’s sitcom “is not canceled” and the network is “looking for a place on the schedule after April 3.”
