Tenn. woman charged with murder in death of boyfriend
COLUMBIA, Tenn. -- A Tennessee woman has been charged with second-degree murder in the death of her boyfriend, reports CBS affiliate WTVF.
Law enforcement officials allege that 22-year-old Kelsey Christina Land stabbed her boyfriend, 27-year-old Russell Potts, during a fight in their apartment. Potts later died from the wounds at a local hospital, according to the station.
Land reportedly said that she stabbed Potts victim in self-defense.
Land was arrested on an indictment Thursday and was being held in the Maury County Jail in lieu of $100,000 bond, according to WTVF.
