Taylor Swift meets six-year-old cancer patient named Taylor
Taylor Rayburn, meet Taylor Swift.
Rayburn, a six-year-old cancer patient, had her dream come true when her family surprised her with a trip to Atlanta and tickets to her favorite singer's concert on Saturday. She and her family reside in North Tonawanda, New York.
The young girl was diagnosed with Wilms' Tumor, a kidney cancer, in April, and has been undergoing chemotherapy since the diagnosis.
Her mother, Allison Rayburn, wrote on Facebook that it was a make-up celebration for her daughter's birthday.
"We surprised Taylor this weekend and took her to see her favorite artist and very first concert ever!" she wrote. "No idea her dream of meeting her would come true! Taylors sweet mom was in the audience and took us back stage to meet her. So thank you Mrs. Andrea and Taylor Swift for making my child's year!
"She needed this! Taylor and her entourage were the sweetest and most humble people. She is just like you see on tv...I think we were all star struck!:) This is a night she will always remember!!She left saying, 'I can't tell if this is a dream or for real!' So amazing!"
Taylor Swift's mother, Andrea Finlay, is battling cancer as well. Swift has talked about her mother's cancer diagnosis before, and has urged fans to remind their parents to get screened. Finlay and Taylor Rayburn took a sweet photo together as they rocked out in the audience.
Swift also donated $50,000 to her dancer's one-year-old nephew who has cancer in September.
