Suspect turns himself in after seeing his photo on the news

ST. LOUIS -- Police say a 50-year-old first-degree murder suspect saw a surveillance photo of himself on the news and turned himself in Monday.

Silver Franklin is accused of fatally shooting 27-year-old Donte Woodson in the restroom of a QuickTrip store near Florissant, Mo. on Sunday.

CBS St. Louis reports that Woodson allegedly walked into the restroom, and approximately one minute later, a gunshot was heard. Police say Woodson ran out of the QuickTrip and collapsed in the parking lot.

Franklin reportedly left the store seconds after officers arrived. Police say Franklin has admitted killing Woodson, however, they have not released a motive.

Franklin is being held one $1 million bond.
