"Survivor: San Juan Del Sur": Best and the worst moments
The second episode of "Survivor: San Juan Del Sur" aired Wednesday night, and it took us all on a roller coaster of emotion that even included a little bloodshed.
Here's a breakdown the best and worst moments of the show.
The best: John Rocker's post-challenge loss belly flop -- for a former professional athlete, the man has put up some surprisingly un-athletic performances thus far. He does have serious rock, paper, scissors skills, though.
The worst: Val's double idol lie--"I've got two idols, and I'm saving me and Jaclyn with them." The problem here is that Val has no idols, and I have no idea how she thinks lying about that is a good idea. She had plenty of time to own up and tell the truth, but she doesn't. And then, she gets voted out.
The best: An enthusiastic Jon head-butting a much larger John in the sumo challenge -- that's right, we're talking about Rocker again.
The worst: Jaclyn's padded swimsuit squeezes each time she gets up to compete in the sumo challenge --come on pageant girl, your boobs are big. Ditch the extra inch.
The best: Remembering when younger brother Aras cried after beating older bro Vytas in the exact same sumo challenge in the first season of "Survivor Blood vs. Water."
The worst: Watching Drew stomp out his younger brother Alec's dreams of ever overpowering his older brother and being as emotionally expressed as Aras.
