"What the hell is going on?"
That's the central question of the 2016 election, "Late Show" host Stephen Colbert suggested to "Face the Nation" moderator John Dickerson on Wednesday night during a wide-ranging interview at the 92nd Street Y in New York City.
The two men touched on a number of topics during their discussion - Hillary Clinton's private email server, Donald Trump's relationship with facts, the debate over transgender restroom access, and how past political campaigns help us understand the 2016 election, to name a few.
