"Spectre": First look at next James Bond film

Script for new James Bond film stolen in Sony hack

Bond is back.

The first photo and footage from "Spectre," Daniel Craig's next outing as 007, was released on Thursday.

The video gives a behind-the-scenes look at the film's shoot in Austria, where they were shooting what a producer called "one of the major action sequences of the movie -- a jewel in the crown, so to speak."

Production designer Dennis Gassner added, "The thing [director Sam Mendes] and I talked about was how we are going to top 'Skyfall' ... We are going to continue the history of the Bond films, making things that are exciting for the audiences to look at, and what could be more exciting than to be on top of the world?"

The official synopsis for the film is: "A cryptic message from Bond's past sends him on a trail to uncover a sinister organization. While M battles political forces to keep the secret service alive, Bond peels back the layers of deceit to reveal the terrible truth behind Spectre."

"Spectre," which began shooting in December, reunites Craig and fellow returning 007 cast members Rory Kinnear, Ben Whishaw, Naomie Harris and Ralph Fiennes, as well as franchise newcomers Christoph Waltz, Andrew Scott, Dave Bautista, Monica Bellucci and Lea Seydoux.

The film is set to hit theaters on Nov. 6.
