Flooding overtakes South Florida streets
MIAMI -- With a sunny start to the day, Saturday quickly became gloomy and soggy with flooding overtaking some South Florida streets, CBS Miami station WFOR-TV reports.
Flood advisories were issued in multiple areas.
The National Weather Service reported flooding in parts of South Florida just before 2 p.m. with various roads becoming impassable.
The water depth was estimated to be a foot high in some areas. Floridians posted pictures of flooded streets to Twitter.

Dozens of cars were stalled due to the flooding.
The heavy rain was expected to go on until at least the early evening hours.
