Snoop Dogg is this year's SXSW keynote speaker
Snoop Dogg has been tapped at this year's South By Southwest keynote speaker.
The 43-year-old rapper will take the stage March 20 at the Austin Convention Center in Austin, Texas.
Previous keynote speakers have included Lady Gaga, Dave Grohl and Bruce Springsteen.
The festival, which focuses on music, film and tech, runs from March 13 through March 22.
Snoop Dogg will release his new album, "Bush," this spring. Pharrell Williams is producing the new set, which comes on the heels of 2013's "Reincarnated."
