"Sharknado 4" announces cast
Yes, David Hasselhoff is back, and so are Ian Ziering and Tara Reid. But they're going to have to make room for Gary Busey.
The Syfy networked announced the cast for this summer's "Sharknado 4" Wednesday, with some new faces joining Ziering and Hasselhoff for the fourth installment of the intentionally cheesy TV movie franchise.
The network also announced that the fate of Reid's character, April Wexler, will be decided by fans via a social media campaign employing the hashtags #AprilLives or #AprilDies.
The new additions to the cast include Busey April's father and a robotics scientist, Tommy Davidson as a tech billionaire, and Cheryl Tiegs as the mother of Ziering's character.
"Sharknado 4" will premiere on Syfy in July.
