The Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports the deaths of 36-year-old Shanna Vandewege and her son, Diederick, remain under investigation.

Police say investigators are not specifically looking at any one person as a suspect at this time.

Their bodies were discovered Thursday night.

Fort Worth police went to the house after receiving a call from Saginaw police reporting a man had arrived at the home and found the woman and child dead. The bodies were found in their beds, the paper reports.

Mark Riddle, Shanna Vandewege’s father, said his daughter worked as a registered nurse at an area hospital but was still on maternity leave.

Shanna Vandewege and her husband had moved to Fort Worth from Colorado this year.
