Selena Gomez sends post-rehab message to fans

Selena Gomez is feeling thankful.

The singer/actress, 21, posted a message on Instagram expressing gratitude to her fans a week after it was revealed she checked herself into a rehab facility in January.

"I've done everything I could to the best of my ability. Thank you for the unconditional love and cyber hugs. You inspire me," she wrote Monday, sharing a photo showing her on a boat with a big smile.

A rep for Gomez said she "voluntarily spent time" at Dawn at the Meadows, a center in Arizona whose website says it treats "emerging adults ages 18-26 who struggle with emotional trauma, addiction or dual diagnosis concerns." The rep added that she was not there for substance abuse.

Gomez canceled her Asia and Australia tour dates in December, saying that she needed to spend some time on herself.
