There’s a reason why James Corden and John Krasinski have such great chemistry: They’ve been working together since 1939, when they filmed a scene for “Gone with the Wind” and were subsequently fired. Apparently, mic-dropping was not allowed back then.

At least that’s what the actors claim. The two teamed up in a video montage for the “Late Late Show” of all of the scenes they supposedly shot before they got booted from iconic movies like “A Few Good Men” and “Pulp Fiction.”

The video alleges that Corden and Krasinski got cut from “Pulp Fiction” for confusing their lines with the song “Gangster’s Paradise.” Corden says he’ll probably lose more roles to Samuel L. Jackson in the future.
