Search underway for Oregon mother missing since Thursday

PORTLAND, Ore. - A 38-year-old Oregon mother of two has been missing since Thursday, and her family is certain she didn't just walk away.

The Oregonian reports that Jennifer Huston, of Dunde, was last seen purchasing gas at a 76 station in Newberg.

Newberg-Dundee Police Captain Jeff Kosmicki says surveillance video shows Huston buying gas around 6:10 p.m. for her dark green Lexus LX-470. She appeared to be alone.

Her husband, Kallen Huston, said his wife has no history of mental illness and wouldn't leave without warning.

"It's very uncharacteristic of her," Kallen Huston said, according to CBS affiliate KOIN. "She's a very regimented person, she sticks to a schedule. She's potty-training our 2-year-old, this is not something she would do.

Both Jennifer Huston's father and her longtime friend say she would never intentionally leave her two children, reports the station.

Police Capt. Kosmicki says authorities have exhausted all leads. The family created a Facebook page to share photographs and information.

According to a family flier, Huston was last seen wearing black and pink Nike shoes and yoga pants. She is 5-foot-7-inches tall and has blond shoulder-length hair and blue eyes.
