Rick Fox texted, offered support to Khloe Kardashian
Rick Fox is a good friend -- to both Khloe Kardashian and to fellow NBA player Lamar Odom.
Fox, who allegedly went on a date or two with Kardashian, told Us Weekly on Monday that he texted the reality star to tell her he's there for her and Odom.
"I sent a text offering any help I can give," said Fox at the Paley Center for Media's Hollywood Tribute to African-American Achievements in Television in Beverly Hills. "Anything needed, I am here for Lamar, definitely. I hope he is making progress."
Odom seems to be doing just that. On Friday, his aunt released a statement, saying, "He is beginning to gradually flourish both mentally and physically. His use of speech has increased, and he's more cognitively responsive."
He is still following an "aggressive" therapy regimen.
Kardashian, who was estranged until Odom's hospitalization, has reportedly been by the NBA star's side in the hospital.
