Rescuers save dog who fell down well in Maryland

PERRYMAN, Md. -- A St. Bernard in a Maryland town is lucky to be alive after falling down a 30-foot well.

The dog, named Mabel, was rescued by the Aberdeen Fire Department and Harford County Technical Rescue Team, according to the Harford County Fire and EMS Facebook page.

The dog was safely removed from the well, Harford County Fire said.

According to their Facebook page, Mabel was seen running in circles after she was pulled from the well.

She will be taken to a vet to be checked out.

From the after picture, she sure does seem to be doing just fine.
