Dawg! Randy Jackson is getting a divorce.

Erika Jackson, the wife of the former "American Idol" judge, filed for divorce Friday in Los Angeles citing irreconcilable differences. They were wed for nearly 19 years.

Randy and Erika were married in December 1995, and she listed their separation date as Sept. 11. The couple have two children together, and Erika is seeking physical custody and spousal support. Their youngest child is age 17.

The soon-to-be former Mrs. Jackson is asking to restore her name to Erika Riker.

Randy Jackson served as a judge on "American Idol" during its ratings heyday and spent 12 seasons assessing talent on the series that launched the careers of Jennifer Hudson and Carrie Underwood. He served as a mentor on the show's 13th season.
