Quadruple shooting leaves two dead in Indianapolis
INDIANAPOLIS -- Four people were shot, at least two fatally, near the east side of Indianapolis Monday morning, CBS affiliate WTTV reports.
Officers responded just before 3 a.m. and medics pronounced two victims dead at the scene. Police say the other two victims were transported to a hospital in critical condition.
According to police, all four were adult males.
Investigators found dice and money inside the home and said they believe the shooting was connected to a robbery, according to the station.
A short time after police responded to that incident, they received another report of a person shot on the east side. When they responded they found a man shot in the leg, they said.
The station reports that police are investigating the possibility that the two incidents may have been connected.
Officers urge anyone with information about these shootings to call Crime Stoppers at 317-262-TIPS (8477).
