Professional athletes cry foul over Trump's "locker room talk"
Donald Trump has repeatedly defended his lewd remarks about women as “locker room talk,” an excuse he doubled down on during Sunday night’s second presidential debate.
The offensive comments were made in a 2005 conversation with Billy Bush, which was exposed in a leaked “Access Hollywood” tape on Friday. Trump faced heavy criticism from the public and his own party through the weekend leading up to the debate.
“Certainly I’m not proud of it, but this was locker room talk,” Trump told moderator Anderson Cooper.
But his comments have professional athletes wondering what locker rooms Donald Trump has been in.
As an athlete, I've been in locker rooms my entire adult life and uh, that's not locker room talk.

Just for reference. I work in a locker room (every day)... that is not locker room talk. Just so you know...

PSA: sexual advances without consent is NOT locker room talk.

The attempt to normalize it as any type of "talk" is wrong. I refuse to let my son think that this is "just how men speak" https://t.co/cdzLGAX2zs

I haven't heard that one in any locker rooms https://t.co/Ci8NXOgFcI

The hashtag #NotInMyLockerRoom has also surfaced among other social media users as a way to speak out against Trump and sexual assault.
Misogyny is wrong everywhere always. If your 'locker room' includes it, stand up. #NotInMyLockerRoom

PSA: If you must brag about your sexual assaults in a locker room with me, expect to be loudly addressed as a RAPIST. #notinmylockerroom

I've been working out since high school and not one person ever talked like that. Funny teen boys have more respect. #notinmylockerroom

So proud of the men using #NotInMyLockerRoom. Your stance contributes to the decline in rape culture and sexual assault, & we all thank you
