Police search for Fla. man accused of killing estranged wife
MIAMI - Detectives are searching for a man suspected of shooting and killing his estranged wife Sunday, reports CBS Miami.
A warrant has been issued for Joe Padgett, who police believe killed Katrina Padgett at her mother's Miami-Dade home.
Detectives say the couple argued before Joe Padgett began shooting at Katrina Padett and her mother. The victim was struck several times but her mother was not.
Katrina Padgett was pronounced dead at the scene by Miami-Dade Fire Rescue personnel. Joe Padgett fled the scene before officers arrived. Police say he should be considered armed and dangerous.
