Police: Maryland woman shot husband, 7-year-old son
DUNDALK, Md. --A Maryland woman has been charged with attempted murder for allegedly shooting her husband and 7-year-0ld son Saturday,reports CBS Baltimore.
Police say the shooting happened after 30-year-old Erica Shifflett got into an argument with her husband Saturday evening, outside his home.
The husband was taking the couple's son inside when Shifflett allegedly "pulled out a gun and fired, striking her husband in the upper body area and her son in the lower body area," according to a police report.
Both victims were taken to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
Shifflett has been charged with attempted first-degree murder, first-degree assault, and related charges.
She is being held without bail at the Baltimore County Detention Center.
