Photos show Bill Clinton smiling, laughing with Trump, Melania, and model
New photos released by the Clinton Presidential Library show then-President Bill Clinton laughing, smiling and talking together at two separate events in the last year of Clinton’s presidency.
Others show the two along with Trump’s then-girlfriend Melania Knauss and Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Kylie Bax, who was wearing a Playboy bunny shirt.
The 22 photos were taken by the White House photographer during two events: one, a fundraiser Clinton attended at Trump Tower in June 2000 for Rep. Ed Towns, D-New York, and the other, the U.S. Open in Flushing Meadows, New York, and they were released under a Freedom of Information Act request by Politico.
Trump and Clinton appear comfortable together as they smiled and posed for photos together.
According to Politico, the National Archives has located but won’t be releasing 59 photos of Hillary Clinton and Trump at a fundraiser in New York in 1994 because they fall into the category of “personal records” and are not included in the Presidential Records Act.
