Photos: Ellen Page brings girlfriend to red carpet event
Cute couple alert: Ellen Page brought her girlfriend, Samantha James, onto the red carpet with her at the Toronto International Film Festival.
Page was promoting her new film "Freeheld," which also stars Julianne Moore.
Page and James looked very smitten as they leaned on each other and held hands.
The two also perfectly complemented each other, in menswear-inspired outfits that were similar, but not too matchy-matchy. James wore a white tuxedo shirt with a black vest and black pants, and Page wore a black tuxedo jacket with leather leggings and a skinny tie.
Actress Ruby Rose teased them, and herself, for their similar style sensibilities, writing, "When you're not sure if you're a YSL Campaign or really stylish waiters" on Instagram. We've never seen waiters who looked this chic.

Page came out last year, telling an audience, "I'm here today because I am gay." She was speaking to a conference of counselors who work with teenagers who identify as lesbian, gay, transgender, bisexual or queer.
She has since become a vocal activist for LGBT rights, taking on Ted Cruz at the Iowa State Fair.
