Oscars 2016: How to watch the Academy Awards

Hollywood's biggest night is here. Here's how you can watch the Oscars online or on TV.

The show airs at 8:30 p.m. EST on ABC, though the red carpet show stars at 7 p.m. EST.

If you want to watch online, you can stream the show on ABC's website, but you must have a cable login to watch, and you can only stream if you live in Chicago, Fresno, Houston, Los Angeles, New York City, Philadelphia, Raleigh-Durham and San Francisco. The same restrictions apply to the Watch ABC app, where you can stream on any mobile devices.
