Oprah Winfrey to take part in Ava Duvernay's "A Wrinkle in Time"
Oprah Winfrey will grace the big screen again on Disney's upcoming "A Wrinkle in Time."
The media mogul will reunite with director Ava Duvernay, reports Variety. The two worked together on "Selma," with Duvernay in the director's chair and Winfrey playing a civil rights activist.
The film will be an adaptation of Madeleine L'Engle's classic children's science-fiction book. The plot follows a group of children who travel through a wormhole to find their missing father, who is a scientist for the government.
Winfrey will play one of the three women who impart wisdom upon and help the children on their travels. She will play Mrs. Which.
Winfrey will also act in the upcoming "The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks" on HBO.
