President Obama has already seen new "Game of Thrones" episodes

Being the leader of the free world has its benefits. For instance, you don't have to wait until April 24 to see what happens on "Game of Thrones."

"Game of Thrones" showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss revealed during HBO's Facebook Live stream that President Obama -- a big fan of the hit series -- requested early screeners of episodes from the show's upcoming sixth seasons.

"When the commander-in-chief says 'I want to see advanced episodes,' what are you going to do?" Benioff said.

"For both of us, finding out the President wanted advanced copies of the episodes was an 'aha' moment," Weiss said. "That was a very strange moment."

This move puts Obama in a relatively exclusive class, as HBO decided to not send advance screeners to TV critics and journalists for the first time this year.

So basically, if you want to find out if Jon Snow is really dead or not, ask the president.
