New trailer: Colin Firth channels 007 in "Kingsman: The Secret Service"
Tinker, tailor, soldier, "Kingsman"? In his first foray into the action genre, Colin Firth channels 007 in the new thriller from "Kick-Ass" and "X-Men: First Class" director Matthew Vaughn, and we've got a first look at the turbo-charged "Kingsman: The Secret Service" trailer.
Action? Check. Intrigue? Check. Super-secret spy organization? Check. Gadgets? Triple-check. Much like the premise to "La Femme Nikita," "Kingsman: The Secret Service" ratchets up the excitement with Firth as Jack Unwin, an impeccably dressed member of an independent, international intelligence agency "operating at the highest level of discretion" who recruits his skilled, street-smart hoodlum nephew Gary (Taron Egerton) into the agency's ultra-competitive training program. Unrefined but full of promise and boasting a stellar I.Q., Gary must test his mettle in life-and-death scenarios just as a global threat emerges from a villainous, twisted tech genius (Samuel L. Jackson).
