"Nashville," "The Muppets," "Castle" among canceled shows

"Nashville," "CSI: Cyber" and "Castle" are a few of the biggest shows that got canceled this week.

It was revealed on Thursday that many prime time shows would not return for another season.

ABC axed the Connie Britton-led "Nashville," along with the popular mystery series "Castle," which experienced some turbulence after star Stana Katic left the show. ABC will also be saying goodbye to "Agent Carter," "Galavant," "Blood & Oil," "The Family" and "The Muppets."

Fox is bidding farewell to "Grandfathered" and "The Grinder." The network heavily promoted both shows, starring John Stamos and Rob Lowe, respectively. Fox is also shutting down "Bordertown," "Minority Report" and "Cooper Barrett's Guide to Surviving Life."

CBS is canceling "CSI: Cyber" after two seasons.
