Mayweather vs. Pacquiao PPV jams for some cable providers

It's what both cable executives and people throwing fight parties feared most: the pay-per-view feed being jammed.

Several cable television subscribers who paid the $100 fee to get the Mayweather vs. Pacquiao fight, billed as the "Fight of the Century," and likely the most profitable, began complaining Saturday night that their feed was not coming in.

Customers of several nationwide cable systems got error messages on their televisions or blank screens, sending them into a frenzy on Twitter.

While some had problems getting the feed to come in, others couldn't order it at all.

Although it was unclear what was causing the problem, many speculated that so many people ordered the fight that it overwhelmed the system. An estimated 3 million people were expected to get the event over their cable and satellite systems.

It's a problem the cable guy wouldn't likely be able to make it out to fix before the Main Event. But the service providers are trying to fix the problem as customers frantically complained.
