Massachusetts commuter rail train strikes tractor-trailer

BRAINTREE, Mass. -- A commuter rail train struck a tractor-trailer south of Boston Wednesday.

Five people on the train reported experiencing back discomfort after the collision, Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority spokesman Joe Pesaturo told CBS News. About 60 people were on the train.

The tractor-trailer driver reportedly jumped out before the train struck the truck, according to a spokesman for Keolis, the company that operates the commuter rail.

The Kingston/Plymouth Line train left Boston's South Station at 10:50 a.m., officials told CBS Boston station WBZ-TV.
