Md. man gets 150 years in beer pong sex assault case

ROCKVILLE, Md. - A Montgomery County man convicted of sexually assaulting men he met at beer pong events has been sentenced to 150 years in prison.

Joey Poindexter, 40, was sentenced Wednesday in Montgomery County Circuit Court. In two trials earlier this year, jurors found Poindexter of 11 counts of second- and third-degree sex offense.

Poindexter was convicted of assaulting five men, but prosecutors believe there are at least two dozen more victims, based on videos and photos they say Poindexter took of the assaults. Prosecutors say Poindexter met several of the men at beer pong tournaments, including one at a bar in College Park.
