Man charged with threatening to bomb Chicago train station

CHICAGO — A man has been charged with calling city officials Sunday night and threatening to bomb a Chicago train station, CBS Chicago reports

Darren R. Muldrow, 29, faces one misdemeanor count of disorderly conduct for breaching the peace, according to Chicago Police. 

At 8:18 p.m. Sunday, he allegedly called the city's Office of Emergency Management & Communications threatening to bomb the Chicago Transit Authority's 87th Street Red Line station, located in the city's South Side.

Chicago Police searched the station with a K-9 Unit, but didn't find a bomb.

Muldrow, who lives on the city's Northwest Side, was taken into custody, police said.
