Man charged with murder in shooting after Dallas Cowboys game

ARLINGTON, Texas -- A Texas man has been charged with first degree murder in connection with the Oct. 11 shooting of another man outside AT&T Stadium, where the Dallas Cowboys play.

Richard Sells died Oct. 14 at a Fort Worth hospital, according to CBS affiliate KYTX .

Authorities said he was shot Oct. 11 during a fight at a parking lot tailgate party after the Cowboys lost to the New England Patriots.

Arlington police said 28-year-old Marvin Rodriguez pointed a gun at a man during a fight then shot Sells in the neck as Sells tried to break up another altercation.

Records show Rodriguez has been charged with murder and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

His bail has been set at $200,000.
