Maisie Williams tries to convince "Game of Thrones" fans she isn't Maisie Williams

Even at a young age, Maisie Williams has years of acting experience under her belt. But it might not be enough to help her with her toughest assignment yet -- fooling "Game of Thrones" fans into thinking she's not actually herself.

With a little help from Nylon magazine and HBO, Williams infiltrated a "Game of Thrones" merchandise giveaway at at Aero Hobbies in Santa Monica, California, posing as a lowly shopgirl named Lorraine. And did it work? Not exactly.

The more diehard fans recognized her almost immediately -- especially when she gave up attempts at pulling off an American accent -- but a few still managed to not make the connection.

Whether they recognized Williams or not, she managed to have some fun by making customers act out favorite scenes from the series, and things got downright ridiculous.

Season 6 of "Game of Thrones" premieres Sunday, April 24 at 9 p.m. on HBO.
