Lindsay Lohan ordered to complete 125 additional hours of community service

Lindsay Lohan will have to spend more of her time helping others.

A judge Wednesday ordered the 28-year-old actress to perform 125 more hours of community service as part of her probation from a 2012 crash, reports CBS Los Angeles.

Her probation now goes through May 28 so she has time to put in the hours, according to Judge Mark A. Young. This comes after prosecutors called into question the amount of work she had already done.

Earlier this month, Santa Monica Chief Deputy City Attorney Terry White doubted how much community service Lohan had actually completed, arguing that doing meet-and-greets at her London production of "Speed the Plow" does not count.

"She got to shake hands with people, and that's community service," White said. "I'd love to hang out with a celebrity all day and see their life, but that's not community service."

Lohan, who was originally ordered to complete 240 hours of community service following a reckless driving charge, did some community work at both the Los Angeles County morgue and reportedly at a London-based volunteer organization.

Lohan's lawyer, Shawn Holley, said Wednesday her client "doesn't have a problem" with the additional community service hours.

"She's enjoying doing community service," Holley said, according The Los Angeles Times. "Her passion is really working with kids...and kids really respond to her."

Lohan pleaded no contest in March 2013 to reckless driving and lying to police stemming from an accident on the Pacific Coast Highway involving a Porsche and a dump truck.
