Leonard Nimoy's Twitter account updated following hospitalization reports
Leonard Nimoy's Twitter account was updated Monday following reports the "Star Trek" star was hospitalized last week.
Although a rep has yet to comment, TMZ was the first to report that Nimoy, 83, was rushed to UCLA Medical Center last Thursday with chest pains. The Los Angles Fire Department confirmed to the Los Angeles Times that it responded to a call from Nimoy's home.
Details have not surfaced, but Nimoy's Twitter account has since been updated with poetry and Nimoy's signature salute: "LLAP" -- "Live long and prosper":

Last year, Nimoy revealed that he has lung disease -- although he had stopped smoking 30 years ago.
"I quit smoking 30 yrs ago. Not soon enough. I have COPD. Grandpa says, quit now!! LLAP," the actor tweeted.
Nimoy played half-human, half-Vulcan Mr. Spock on the original "Star Trek" series, which ran from 1966-69, and has stepped back into the role several times over the years.
