Lady Antebellum escapes bus fire

Lady Antebellum's tour bus caught fire Thursday morning on the way to the Academy of Country Music Awards in Dallas, authorities said.

No injuries have been reported, as everyone was able evacuate safely. The bus was coming from Nashville.

Singer Hillary Scott posted a photo of the incident on Instagram, along with the caption: "Hey guys, we had a crazy morning on the way to Dallas today. Our bus tire caught on fire and we had to evacuate very quickly. EVERYONE IS SAFE AND SOUND. It was me, my husband, our tour manager, and driver. Thanking God for our safety and the safety of all of those who helped put this fire out and keep us safe. Love you all!!!! ~hillary"

The band's other members, Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood, were not traveling on the bus. Heavy smoke could be seen for miles, authorities said.

Lady Antebellum is among the acts expected to perform at the ACMs this weekend. Formed in Nashville in 2006, Lady Antebellum has won seven Grammy awards and seven ACM awards, among others.
