Manhunt for Southern Calif. carjacker in fatal shootings
LOS ANGELES -- - Authorities in Southern California say they're searching for an armed man who carjacked a woman's SUV before shooting and killing one person and injuring three others.
Officials said there are at least four victims, CBS Los Angeles reports, and authorities have now confirmed one of the shooting victims has died.
The condition of the other three victims was unclear. But officials said all four were taken to area hospitals.
Deputy Ryan Rouzan of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department told the Los Angeles Times the man stole the car Saturday afternoon in the Los Angeles suburb of Pico Rivera. There were mutliple crime scenes reported.
The gunman was reportedly at large.
It was unclear if the attack was gang-related.
No motive was given for the attack or if the victims were targeted.
Police set up a command center at La Mirada High School.
