Kirsten Dunst and Garrett Hedlund call it quits after four years: report

After four years together and a relatively private romance, Kirsten Dunst and Garrett Hedlund have called it quits, Us Weekly reports. The couple had been living together and were rumored to be engaged.

They met on the set of 2012's "On the Road" and have been together ever since.

Though they have remained relatively tight-lipped about their relationship, both actors have occasionally opened up about one another.

Back in August, Dunst told Town and Country magazine that Hedlund "feels like family to me."

And in this May's cover story for Instyle UK, Dunst got even more candid, saying, "I feel like we're good at doing our own thing but also at coming together ... I see reflected in him what I see in myself -- a sensitivity and someone who's family-oriented. Look, all I can say is it's my longest relationship, so it's working, right?"

Dunst's rep declined ET's request for comment. Dunst recently wrapped up her stint on FX's "Fargo," which earned her a Golden Globe nomination, and Hedlund is next set to star in Billy Lynn's "Long Halftime Walk" with Kristen Stewart, Vin Diesel, Chris Tucker and Steve Martin.
