Keyshawn Johnson arrested for spousal battery
CALABASAS, Calif. - Former NFL wide receiver and current ESPN analyst Keyshawn Johnson was arrested for alleged misdemeanor spousal battery Monday morning at his home in the Los Angeles metropolitan area, reports CBS Los Angeles.
According to the station, Los Angeles County Sheriff's deputies responded to a possible spousal assault call at the 41-year-old Johnson's Calabasas residence around 12:48 a.m.
"When deputies arrived, it was determined that the resident and his ex-girlfriend were involved in a domestic dispute," Sgt. Carmen Arballo told CBS LA. Johnson was arrested at the scene and taken to the Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff's Station.
The former USC standout, who played for four NFL teams during his 11-year professional career, was released after posting a $20,000 bond at 9:15 a.m., CBS LA reports.
