Kelly Osbourne slammed as hypocrite for mocking Rachel Dolezal with wig photo

Kelly Osbourne caused a stir Thursday after posting a selfie on Instagram mocking Rachel Dolezal by donning a big curly wig (and blazer, and smirk).

"#CallMeRachel #MyCasualLook," the 33-year-old star captioned the pic in which she looked strikingly similar to the embattled former NAACP leader who was outed by her white parents as pretending to be black.

By joining the joke, the former "Fashion Police" host also joined the controversy. Osbourne had quit the show in February because she was offended by comments from former colleague Guliana Rancic that she perceived as racist. Now followers are pointing to Osbourne's apparent hypocrisy.

"Quits fashion police because she doesn't want to make fun of people's looks. Then makes fun of that wanna be black chicks look. Please," one commenter wrote.

Another was a little more blunt: "Kelly ur stupid! Not funny at all!"

Osbourne has apparently been fascinated by Dolezal since she posted last week about the former Spokane, Washington NAACP president. "This has utterly shocked me!!! It's a #WholeNewLevelOfWrong."

"I like you kelly but I think I have to unfollow you now. I think this is inappropriate and just plain dumb," said another, and yet Osbourne's photo still received over 27,000 likes at last check.

Apparently undeterred, Osbourne then followed up the controversial post with another, doing a side-by-side photo split with the same pic and a photo of her dad Ozzy with a blond spiky hairdo and eyeliner.
