Kelly Osbourne gets tattoo for Joan Rivers

Well, this is sweet.

Kelly Osbourne paid tribute to her late friend and "Fashion Police" co-star Joan Rivers Thursday by getting a bumblebee tattoo on her right shoulder.

The white ink tattoo was done by Hollywood tattooist Mark Mahoney. He's also inked Lana Del Rey, Johnny Depp and Lady Gaga.

Here's an Instagram photo, with a caption that explains the bumblebee:

In honor of you @joanrivers..."If you looked at aerodynamics, at science, the bumble bee should not be able to fly. Physically, it was just not anatomically equipped to soar. Yet it did, defying gravity, defying logic. The bee was a creature that defied and beat the odds, a miracle." Thank you for being my Miracle @joanrivers. 💜💋

After Rivers' death in September, Osbourne posted a photo to Facebook of her and Rivers on the "Fashion Police" set with this caption:

"I'm completely heartbroken by the loss of my beloved Joan. Not only was she my boss, she was and will always be my teacher, therapist, closest friend, inspiration and the only grandmother I ever knew," Osbourne, 29, wrote. "She was family and I will never forget her."
